Overview

The Tech Radar for Compass is a powerful visualization tool that helps organizations track and communicate their technology landscape. As an administrator, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing quadrants and rings
• Organizing technology items
• Customizing the visual appearance
• Managing data imports and exports

Guide Structure

Key Concepts

Quadrants

Organize technologies into categories like “Languages & Frameworks” or “Tools”

Rings

Define technology adoption stages from inner to outer rings (e.g., “Adopt”, “Trial”, “Assess”, “Hold”)

Items

Individual technologies, methodologies, or tools that you want to track

Status Flags

Indicators showing the state of items (e.g., “New”, “Changed”, “Default”)
